Been coming here since about 2009. My go to spot for a good night with great food and awesome staff. They have vegan friendly options and the best hookah in Jax hands down. The crowd is super diverse everybody is welcome here. Reasonably priced and they have different events throughout the week that always a good time.... EXCEPT TRIVIA!!!!! I had the pleasure of coming across this local gem while in Jacksonville! If you are looking for amazing Mediterranean Food, fantastic Staff and your favorite Hookah flavors look no further!!!! The amount of food for your money is great but the fact that everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection is what we all LOVE! Full bar to go along with your Hookah experience or to pair with your favorite meal. The lamb was my absolute favorite! Well done
It was a wonderful experience. The bartender we had made a creative alcoholic drink for us to experiment with. It was so much fun. The lights came on at 1:40am. Which kind of feels like a notification to prepare to depart, and it was totally cool. This is a great spot to be, but definitely sit at the bar if you can for expedited service. We were seated at a table for 10 minutes and had not gotten our drink orders nor hookah orders, however we are vets and very unbothered by the negligence. It wasn't even that bad. We just moved ourselves to the bar for service and BOOM! Instant customer service and attention. Our only wish is that we could have moved to the bar sooner, and have cubed coals, instead of the circular ones, which do not provide heat for a long period of time. The short-lived experience was good. No severe post or blog here. I have 5 stars for the experimental alcoholic drink that had glitter in it. Yes!
I came here years ago when it was just a tiny hole in the wall and have many fond memories. I was craving a hookah so we came back and were surprised to see the renovation, which I'm sure is no longer new, but is absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed. The service was better (and our waitress was so sweet, I wish I got her name) than I remembered. We got some hummus and pita which was delicious and we saw many tables getting their fries all night, but for some reason we didn't get any. A couple nights later we ordered take out because I was still thinking about the fries. Luckily they didn't disappoint, and their honey mustard was great too! We also got the chicken shwarma platter with rice and veggies and it was tasty and filling. Overall, I'm happy this lounge has lasted so long and is delivering great service and food at great prices, especially the hookah prices in comparison to some others around town.
The chicken tenders were absolutely amazing. Neisha was a fantastic server. Even when they got busier, she still kept the smile on her face and awesome personality. We’ll definitely request her every time we come back!
I am rating soley on food. The tzatziki was phenomenal!!!!!!! I'm not a fan of humus but it was good. I loved the falafel but I didn't like the sauce it came with I prefer the tzatziki with it. The spanakopita was savory and delicious, the marinara had cilantro which adds a fresh spin. The Chicken Volcano Melt is huge! The fries are cheesy loaded with chicken and the ranch and hot sauce pair perfectly! Our tummies were happy after our late dinner! The decor is very eye catching and beautiful!
The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was fantastic and our server (Neisha) was amazing! We will definitely be going back.
This place is just another VIBE, once you come inside are always similar faces, people studying, doing arts, or even playing cards while smoking. The music is chill and isn't a crazy loud bar, it's a peaceful nice place to hang out. I love coming there, having a seat at the bar, and asking them to create a drink for me. They ALWAYS make me happy with the creation of drinks, they are super nice. I become friends with this Brazilian girl who works there, and she is awesome with the customers too. The Mediterranean food is AMAZING as well. Me and my husband I love to come to this bar and we say, this is our favorite spot in town.
